Indoor spaces remain riskier than outdoor spaces when it comes to the spreading of germs and some infectious diseases (like TB and COVID-19). This is because there is a higher concentration of germs in the air in badly ventilated spaces. They hang in the air in aerosols and can infect anyone that breathes them in. But good ventilation can help curb the spread of germs! Keep indoor spaces ventilated by opening windows and doors, turning on mechanical extractors (if present), and reducing the number of people, as well as time spent, in these indoor spaces.
