WE WANT A SCHOOL FOR OUR CHILDREN: Some parents in Forest Village near Eerste River, Western Cape, say their children didn’t get spots in the schools in the area. These students and teachers are now being forced to attend classes in the open air, bringing their own chairs and chalkboards. But the Western Cape department of education says it “cannot simply appoint teachers or create a new school in such a manner”.
