In Makhaza, Khayelitsha, a group of high school learners created a short film aiming for a positive representation in global health. The project underscores the role local clinics play in maintaining community security and sustainability and highlights the daily efforts of local healthcare workers. The short film challenges prevailing and skewed narratives about healthcare in underserved areas, offering a fresh and positive perspective on a system that does a lot with circumstantially very little.
