In 2018, Nonela Ntlati (18) and Nesia Khonza (16) set out to produce a short film with, and about group member Zintle Qubuda (18), a survivor of TB meningitis and hydrocephalus as an infant. SURVIVED documents Zintle’s experience, how this influenced her outlook on life growing up as a teenager and its impact on her relationships with friends and family members.
