SARS-COV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) is a virus that we should be prepared to live with for a long time to come. In Khayelitsha, Cape Town, many people are more scared of the COVID-19 vaccine than the virus itself because of trending misinformation on social media and word of mouth. At this point in time, it is increasingly necessary to share accurate information about the disease and its vaccines to support those who are less informed.
