UNSEEN ENEMY is a short documentary film that sheds light on the challenges of diagnosing and treating Tuberculosis, aiming to raise awareness and inspire action towards a world free of the disease and its stigma. It explores the personal experiences and impact of TB on individuals, families, and communities.
The documentary film was shot and edited by Yonela Maphundu (16) and Nande Vuba (15), two high school learners from IkamvaYouth Makhaza as part of the Eh!woza Learner Doccies programme.
Learners conceptualised, shot and edited the films under the tuition and guidance of Eh!woza filmmakers Samuel Flans and Alfa Fipaza.
